We’re in the thick of summer, which means that the shelter is filling up with animals. Fortunately, we were able to help 36 hard-to-adopt cats find homes in July!

We helped 11 bonded pairs and 8 forgotten kittens, as well as senior cats, stressed cats, and cats with medical and behavioral needs — including dental work, litter box problems, and more. This month, we’re highlighting a number of adoptions who all have something in common: these cats were guardian surrenders who got their second chances at Cat Town…

Your support makes everything we do possible — in ways big and small. Every time we celebrate a victory for one of our cats, we know that it’s because we have you behind us.

Thank you for helping each of these cats get the best possible start on the rest of their lives. In June we found homes for cats with FIV, like Boomasaurus Rex, Frederick, Kirin, and Katsu. Each time we say goodbye to a Cat Town cat, we get to witness the start of a new friendship. In May, we saw scores of young cats find homes — including 9 scared Forgotten Kittens like Sinope, Bergamot, and Forest whose adopters knew they’d need extra time in their new surroundings to feel safe. We coincidentally saw 9 sets of bonded pairs go home together, where they quickly helped each other settle into new routines.
