This event is for ages 12 and older. Spend your Saturday evening relaxing with our rescue cats and enjoying live music performed by local cellist, Susanna Porte. This special event allows guests to wander through our Adoption Center as Susanna performs classical and modern pieces. A self-serve tea bar will be open for enjoyment, and music will be performed from 6:30-7:30pm, with 30 minutes to interact with our adoptable cats before and afterward.
Have a favorite classical or pop song? If it can be sung by a person, it can be played on a cello, so request it at events@cattownoakland.org! Registered guests may request one song to be played at this event 10 days or more in advance.
Susanna has performed extensively with orchestras and chamber groups throughout Greater Boston and the San Francisco Bay Area. She is an avid cat-rescue advocate and cat lover who has supported Cat Town’s work for the past 6 years. Registration for this event opens 30 days in advance.
