I fostered Jude when my allergic-to-cats boyfriend got a summer fellowship in Washington, D.C. I knew I'd be lonely, and it seemed like the perfect short-term commitment; I definitely wasn't going to get attached to my temporary kitty.
We had another great month in August, made possible by our community’s support! Last month we found homes for 40 cats, including 14 scared kittens, 7 sick and injured cats, 9 stressed cats, and 4 senior cats.

In July we had 43 adoptions, bringing us to a total of 259 adoptions so far this year! That means: 80 bonded pairs could stay together in their new homes, 68 sick and injured cats found good health and happiness…
