Tempo Saves the Day!
July 15 is National Pet Fire Safety Day, a day to raise awareness on how to prevent and protect people and pets from fires at home. Emergencies can strike anyone at any time, so it’s a good idea to plan ahead and prepare for as many steps of the way as you can.

June 2023 Adoptions
With June, summer got into full swing — and so did our adoptions! We had 32 wonderful cats find homes, including Forgotten Kittens, seniors, cats with medical needs (including FIV), and plenty of cats who’d been stressed in their shelter cages and needed a change of environment.

Deep Dive: Feral or Fearful?

May 2023 Adoptions
Each cat that comes to Cat Town has their own personality, and their own unique needs — they may require months of patience to let their guard down, daily medication, or maybe just someone to help them unleash their silly side through plenty of playtime.

April 2023 Adoptions
So far this year, you’ve helped us find homes for 150 cats — including 34 last month. That’s 54% more adoptions than the same period last year! By focusing on cats who need our support the most — those with nowhere to go by Cat Town, those struggling in their shelter cage, and those who get passed over by other rescues — we’re doing all we can to help save lives at our city shelter.
