It's been months in the making, but the time has finally come for us to hold the grand opening of our expanded adoption center here at Cat Town!
Thanks to Maddie's Fund and Pet Food Express, we're giving even more of Oakland's vulnerable shelter cats the opportunity to find their families. Cats are ofter stressed by the shelter which can make it difficult, if not impossible, for them to find adopters. With our Adoption Center Studios, cats who have dietary restrictions, health issues, a preference for being an only cat, or any number of other things, can meet their future families in a safe and comfortable space.
Our new studios offer vulnerable cats an alternative to the shelter and a greater chance to meet adopters.
The event will take place this coming Sunday, October 1st, from 10AM to 5PM at 2869 Broadway. To celebrate the occasion, we'll be waiving adoption fees and entry fees, though we do still recommend making a reservation to secure your spot. Plus, you could win a chance to name a future Cat Town cat!
