Volunteer of the Month: Angeline Y.
Many people aren’t aware of Cat Town’s extensive foster network. There are a variety of reasons why a cat may be in a foster home; they might be recovering from an illness or surgery, they could be a cat who may not do well in our public Cat Zone space, or they could simply be decompressing from being in the shelter while they wait to be adopted.
Angeline Y. has been a rockstar foster since 2017. She chooses to focus on senior cats and cats with medical needs who may be passed over for younger, healthier cats. I talked with Angeline about her experience fostering for Cat Town and why she hopes others will consider opening their hearts to cats with special needs.

January 2019 Adoptions
How does that saying go? A cat a day keeps the doctor away? We might have that wrong, but that’s what happened in January – we found homes for as many cats as there were days in the month! We were especially excited to send senior cat Marnie, Forgotten Kitten Suzy, and bonded pair Europa and Lazarus to their new homes.
Volunteer of the Month: Randy H.
In our first 2019 spotlight, we’re featuring volunteer Randy H., who’s been a fan of Cat Town since the beginning. When his schedule opened up, he decided to get in on the action, and has been a stalwart volunteer force in our Adoption Center ever since. As one of our regular weekly volunteers, there’s a good chance you’ve seen Randy around or talked with him about one of our cats.
December 2018 Adoptions
Before we get too far into 2019, we want to spend just a little more time celebrating the final adoptions of 2018. In the final month of the year we helped a number of seniors, Forgotten Kittens, and cats facing ailments find the loving families of their dreams — all thanks to your support.
