February 2021 Adoptions

Charles Dickens once asked, “what greater gift than the love of a cat?” At Cat Town, we’re honored to help so many people discover this joy — of loving cats, being loved by them in return, and saving a life in the process.

In February, 23 wonderful cats found that special someone to love! Many of these were shy and stressed cats who needed extra patience to feel safe and happy — and they received the time and love they needed at Cat Town; from our volunteers, our fosters, our adopters, and you. Thank you for helping them on their journey!

Eclipse and her kittens spent the first part of their young lives outside before they came to Cat Town. After her kittens were weaned, Eclipse — who was shy at first — really came into her own at our Adoption Center. She gave her adopters lots of head butts to seal the deal, and went home to another cat buddy!

Holmes (left) and Aries (right) started off as shy, former Forgotten Kittens at another rescue, and came to Cat Town so they could continue to build on their progress, and meet more people. After lots of TLC they learned that they were safe at our Adoption Center, and could let their sweet sides show. In their new home, Holmes now sleeps under his person’s desk while they work! Aries is still cautious, but getting braver each day.

Leo was used to living in a home, and was so stressed in his shelter cage that we had to use a net to get him out safely. In our care, we discovered he is sweet as can be, but definitely likes to call the shots and would need a savvy caretaker to help him learn proper boundaries. Now he’s adopted by someone who brings out his very best, who reports that he is living his best life!
